These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vora mobile application ("App") operated by Hees Labs ("we", "our", or "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Vora is a voice diary application that records your spoken thoughts, transcribes them, and organizes them into diary entries. You must be at least 13 years old to use Vora. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
Vora offers a free tier and paid subscriptions (Vora Pro and Vora Max). Free users are limited to 10 entries per month with 1-minute recordings. Pro users receive 40 entries per month with 3-minute recordings. Max users receive 120 entries per month with 3-minute recordings. Entry counts reset on the 1st of each month.
Each recording counts as one entry toward your monthly limit, regardless of whether you save, cancel, or delete the resulting diary entry.
If you use the same account on both iOS and Android, your diary entries and subscription status will sync across platforms. However, billing remains tied to the platform where the subscription was originally purchased (Apple App Store or Google Play).
We reserve the right to modify plan features, limits, and pricing at any time. Changes to paid plans take effect at the next billing cycle.
Vora Pro and Vora Max are recurring subscriptions billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. By subscribing, you agree to the payment terms presented at the time of purchase.
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We do not have access to your payment information and cannot issue refunds. To request a refund:
You retain ownership of all diary entries and content you create using Vora. We do not claim any rights to your content. You grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
Vora uses AI (OpenAI) to transcribe voice recordings and generate summaries. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or hallucinated text. You are responsible for reviewing your entries. We are not liable for errors in transcription or summaries.

Vora depends on third-party services (OpenAI, Supabase, Apple, Google). We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Downtime may occur due to maintenance, third-party outages, or other factors beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss of data or interruption of service.
Vora is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that transcriptions will be accurate, that the service will be error-free, or that your data will never be lost. You are encouraged to keep important thoughts recorded elsewhere as a backup.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hees Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of diary entries, inaccurate transcriptions, or service interruptions. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the App. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without notice. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
